Kinda dramatic, Annik.

Also, no, he's not Sorenson in any way shape or form. With that many sons, it's not impossible for Sorenson to be descended from the royal family, but Annik himself had no children. So he wouldn't be a direct descendant.

Wow... that's... a difficult history. u_u Poor Annik and all the Fae.

I love the way you told this story! The POV and the burnt edges to the scrolls - great details. <3

I know, it turned out way more tragic than I initially planned. Um... oops. :[

Now that's how you bury the past. Don't pull any punches!

He's like the Van Gogh of writers, except he wanted to keep both ears. XD

Hm, very poetic way to handle things indeed...I'm starting to get an idea of how this all comes together now...theories are whirling in my head!

Can we cut to Loup's room for a quick sec? I want to see the scary wolfman sew a dainty stitch. :3 •_•

Aw, poor Loup. He's kind of taken a back seat for a lot of this. :P You might get your wish before the end of the chapter though ;)

Considering that the Fey are apparently a superpower (well, at least powerful enough to boss not!England around) and every Dwarf we've seen so far has been either a servant or a bandit...yeah, I'll say Crow's country fell apart.

Also: Annik's a wanker.

I understand why he's doing what he's doing, I just don't sympathise. The only thing that results from refusing to address the sins of your past (whether by glancing over it or sugar coating it in history class or outright destroying the records as Annik did) is centuries of resentment between you and your victims.
